Technical Support – Knutsford – £22K. Our client based in Knutsford is currently looking for a Technical Support Analyst. The role is responsible for the provision of internal technical support across both office and remote locations.

The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain and demonstrate technical solutions to end users remotely and in person (through a Technical Briefing). It is critical that the candidate can demonstrate strong aptitude for troubleshooting, problem-solving and technical fault finding.
The position will involve proactively to actively troubleshooting issues, resolving problems and identifying root causes, within our ticket management framework and working directly with internal colleagues and clients.

* Responsible for carrying out technical briefings with clients/delegates on the installation, setup, and use of bespoke software
* Play an active role in the general management and support of the IT infrastructure including network, Servers, and operating systems ensuring services are performing at an optimal level to meet business expectations
* Resolution of technical issues through liaison with users, suppliers and other 3rd parties when appropriate
* Receiving, logging and managing calls and liaison with internal colleagues via telephone and email.
* Management of internal ticketing system for technical support/logging and updating support tickets

About you:

* Strong level of technical troubleshooting across software, network and hardware technologies
* Knowledge of working with and maintaining service desk ticketing systems
* Previous experience of providing a high level of customer/client facing troubleshooting support over the telephone and face to face
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical solutions to end users in a clear and concise manner
