Technical Business Analyst – Cheshire – up to £55,000

We are currently looking for two Technical Business Analyst for a growing company based near Crewe, Cheshire

Role Overview:
As a business analyst you with engage with business unit managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to engineer and re-engineer business processes to increase efficiencies or introduce enhancements within their software platforms. Whilst this role is within the Product Management function, it generally leans more towards the Development function due to its association with Technology based improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities as a Technical Business Analyst:
● Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
● Work closely with project stakeholders to construct workflow charts and wireframe diagrams; studying system capabilities; Technical specifications
● Assist the product manager prioritize requirements into deliverable functionality
● Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
● Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
● Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
● Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends
● Work with internal continuous improvement teams or initiatives to ensure synchronicity with other projects as needed
● Work with internal Training teams and other Change Management functions and customer teams to ensure appropriate understanding and impact analysis on deployment methods
● Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
● Assist/coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments across the organization
● Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making

Skills and experience required as a Business Analyst:
● Business process engineering / re-engineering
● Enterprise software platforms and IT development teams
● Agile development process
● Understanding/experience of networks, databases, servers, etc.
● Creating process maps – Knowledge of using Visio/Lucidchart or other process mapping/modelling tools
● Wireframing experience with Mock-up software (Balsamiq, Adobe Xd, UXpin, etc.)
● Strong analytical, decision making, and organizational skills
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with minimal direction
● Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Strong Microsoft Office skills.
● Business Analyst certification a plus
● Project leadership experience
