Digital Marketing Director – Manchester

Our growing client based in Manchester is currently working for a skilled Digital Marketing Director. Working across the Group you will be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all of the Organisation’s Digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning, implementing and measuring the success of the Strategic Digital Marketing Plan to enable growth, whilst managing the brand across multiple channels
* Ownership and management of the Marketing Budget, and reporting on progress to the CEO, ensuring that all marketing activities deliver ROI
* Planning, development, execution & analysis of outbound lead generation campaigns on social media, email and press to target defined sectors, companies and job roles.
* Conduct relevant market research into Target Sectors, Roles & Competitors to understand Issues & Opportunities within each sector and define our USPs and propositions
* Track & deliver against the agreed monthly KPIs
* Work closely with the Sales & Operations Delivery team to obtain ideas, recommendations & support in defining propositions
* Work closely with the Group of companies to define a group story & proposition
* Development and management of all SEO & PPC activity
* Develop, implement and monitor as necessary, systems and procedures for the smooth operation of the Marketing Function.
* Managing group websites (where appropriate) and associated web analytics
* Recruit, train, coach, motivate and appraise the Marketing Team, in line with company policies and values.
* Work very closely with the Sales & Exec team to jointly fuel the growth of the company.

Essential Requirements:

* Volume lead generating experience on a large scale (over 5000 leads per month B2B)
* Self-driven, results orientated and a positive outlook
* A forward thinker who is able to challenge the status-quo/approach tasks with a focus on innovative and engaging output
* A strong, entrepreneurial and hands-on person who is reliable, tolerant and determined

Specific requirements

* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the Digital Technology sector
* You must have Volume lead generating experience on a large scale (With Examples)
* An ability to think strategically about Digital Marketing within the business
* Substantial experience in Digital Marketing in a B2B role
* Thorough understanding of all digital channels including social media, SEO, PPC, web content and web analytics
* A thorough understanding of Marketing principles and best practices
* Ability to proactively undertake marketing and not just management of the department
* Effective team management skills
* Experience in Project Management
