Application Support ~ Stockport ~ Up to £27,000 + Shift Allowance ~
Our client is a highly successful and growing organisation, located in Stockport, looking to hire a Product Support Specialist to give out 3rd line support for global customers around North America and around Europe.

They are looking for the chosen candidate to have experience with providing technical support for complicated software application and systems. Having knowledge of using call logging software and ITSM toolsets would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
– Deliver excellent 3rd Line Support for the company’s Clients and Users
– As part of the role you will be providing 24/7 Support Cover to Customers
– Resolve any technical issues raised by customers
– Build positive and lasting relationships with Customer and Colleagues

Essential Skills
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Troubleshooting SQL based applications
– Experience or a strong understanding of Incident and Major Incident Management
– Windows System Administration
– An expert in Call Logging Softwares and ITAM Toolsets
– Experience in delivering Technical Support

Desirable Skills
– Powershell Scripting
– PERL, HTML, XML, Jira, AWS, PL/SQL, Qlikview and Tomcat
– Past with working within an ITIL Framework
– Experience working within a Software Development role
