3rd Line Support Technician – Stockport, Cheshire £40K. Our growing client based near Stockport is currently looking for a 3rd Line Support Technician. This role will be responsible for all technical and administrative aspects of the companies retained Server, Storage, and Active Directory infrastructure. Responsible for working with other technical colleagues to provide second and third line technical support as well as specialist technical input into future projects requiring new or changes to the Group infrastructure.

Skills:
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Strong understanding of data centre technologies including SAN, Virtualisation, Servers, Private and public cloud and Networks
* Excellent working knowledge and experience with Systems technologies and platforms currently deployed;
o Wintel
o VMware
o Active Directory
o Storage – NAS / SAN
o Backups – Veeam / Symantec Backup Exec
o PowerShell
o IIS
o Exchange
o Windows 2012/2008

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
* MCITP or equivalent qualifications
* ITIL certification
* Experience with monitoring solutions, Opmanager, Pathview, Netflow
* Experience in managing IT resources to ensure workload is progressed in priority order
* Experience in attending and effectively contributing to Development / Product Team scrums
* A basic appreciation of IT Development practices and tools, Agile
* Proven highly effective stakeholder management
* Experience of proactively identifying and implementing performance improvements
