1st/2nd Line Support Engineer – Irlam – £30K

The duties of the 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will include but not be limited to:

* Maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues
* Setup and maintain Windows desktop, Apple & Android devices
* Support the infrastructure team with software rollouts and patches
* Provide support for Microsoft and custom applications
* Maintain anti-virus solutions
* Create and update service desk user documentation

Essential requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Windows administration experience with knowledge of Active Directory
* Experienced in using ticketing systems
* A team player with a flexible can-do approach
* Ability to communicate technical details in layman’s terms
