Web Design / Development Manager PHP / MYSQL.Our client based near Macclesfield, Cheshire is currently looking for a Web Design / Development Manager with good PHP MYSQL skills. The web design/development manager is responsible for overseeing all design/development projects to ensure that all projects meet specific client requirements and project deadlines are adhered to. The role involves liaising with our European sales team to ensure all development briefs are outlined and requirements are set from the outset. You will be liaising with many departments and external development/designers to ensure that projects meet budgets, and fall in line with the design and development brief and SEO requirements as set by the company.
In addition to the management responsibilities the role is also a technical, and requires a high level of knowledge in object oriented PHP and MySQL and a track record of producing high quality designs and web applications to a professional standard.
Knowledge of open source platform such as Wordpress and Magento is essential as well as a proven track record in managing and delivering high quality web platforms.
For this position you will have some / all of the following skills:
• PHP (Preferrably PHP5)
• MYSQL
• CSS
• HTML / XHTML
• Javascript
• Ajax
• The ability to use graphic design software packages (e.g Adobe Creative Suite)
• An understanding and adherence to Web Standards
• Experience in development web solutions in Magento and Wordpress
• Strong design skills and web design portfolio
• Familiarity developing with Content Management systems
