User Experience Designer / UX Designer- Bradford, Yorkshire. Our client based in Bradford is currently looking for a skilled User Experience Designer. Our client’s core services are providing concept to creation of digital projects to various business sectors. Whilst the current team already has strong skills in User Experience design, the successful candidate will have a more focused role, helping the company to move to the next level.
 
 

Core duties:
• Researching and planning websites, from simple brochure sites through to large e-commerce and complex web applications.
• Working directly with clients to develop user stories, personas and journeys
• Capturing and analysing site and project requirements through a combination of research exercises and workshops
• Generating site-maps and process flows
• Designing user interfaces and wireframes
• Creating and developing site wireframes, prototypes and storyboards
• Helping to create detailed functional specs for the design and development teams to work with.
Skills:
• Passionate about user experience, and happy to develop their skills further
• Friendly, professional- great with people, especially clients
• Strongly appreciative/understanding of digital design, branding and marketing
• Knowledgeable about usability, accessibility and web standards
• Knowledgeable of web standards (WC3 and WA12) and best practices across user experience, search engine optimisation (SEO) and development
• Sound understanding of standard development practices like HTML, CSS, PHP etc
• Knowledge of Drupal and /or other web development technologies, such as WordPress, Expression Engine, ModX etc.
• Experience and understanding of wireframing software
• Experienced working in web based information architecture and/or User experience design.
