Test Engineer - Manchester. Our client based in Manchester is currently looking for a skilled Test engineer. You will be working for an international Consultancy and Development company specialising in the creation of innovative Software solutions.
This role would involve the following tasks:
• Understanding Requirements
• Understanding Acceptance Criteria
• Interpreting Functional and UI Specifications and Design Documents
• Identifying Test Conditions
• Writing Test Scripts
• Executing Tests and Recording Test Results
• Logging Defects
• Re-Testing and Regression Testing
For consideration for employment for the above post prospective candidates are required to have some /all of the following:
• Software testing experience (minimum of 6 months)
• At least 6 months System Testing or User Acceptance Testing
• Ability to solve problems and an awareness of how to find out information
• Experience of testing in a mobile phone environment
• An understanding of different phases of testing
• Application of formal test design techniques
You will be highly motivated and works with minimum supervision. Good inter-personal skills and develops a good working relationship with technical staff. You will preferably educated to degree level and be ISEB qualified.
