Software Tester - Chesterfield £30K. Our growing client based in Chesterfield is currently looking for an experience Software Tester with the ability to take software from developer system test through to release test.

 

The company's software development uses industry standard tools such as MyEclipse, Hudson, Subervision, JIRA, Concordion etc. Familiarity with modern test tools and testing of modern Java-based systems is essential.

The role will involve developing and implementing test procedure/scripts, with authority over product release. There is potential for the successful candidate to expand the role into consultancy, training, some software developments etc.

This is a totally new position and the successful candidate will begin with a "blank sheet of paper"- to the extent they will be able to specify all of the hardware/software tools which they require to do the job.
