Project Manager - Manchester. Our growing client, an international mobile Development company based in Manchester is looking for a skilled Project Manager. The company has built a reputation for solving complex problems and consistently delivering quality mobile software to the Mobile Platform Providers, Phone Manufacturers, Network Operators and Software Vendors.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Delivery of Projects to agreed timescales, budgets, scope and quality.
• Managing the client’s expectations relating to the project’s timescales, budget, scope and quality.
• Negotiating and managing changes to the scope of the project with the client as they arise.
• Managing project dependencies, issues and risks, both with the client, and within the company.
• Contributing to resource review meetings with Senior Management to ensure all projects are correctly staffed.
• Ensuring the releasing of resource from projects is planned, to ensure the company makes optimal use of its staff.
• Production of Project Plans.
• Timely reporting of progress to both the client and the company Management.
• Ensuring the Project is executed in line with any Quality Management System in place for the project, with any variations agreed with the Senior Management, and authorised by the client if required.
• Agreeing any third party deliverables required by the project that form part of the companies contractual commitments.
• Managing any third parties and their deliverables to the project that form part of the companies contractual commitments, and ensuring contractual deliverables are to specification, and the agreed level of quality.
• Providing day to day account management of clients. Where possible extending the company sphere of influence within the client, and alerting sales to any potential new business opportunities for our client, that they identify.
• Contribute to the production of Sales Proposals.
• Maintaining good staff morale on projects.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects involving multiple partners and relationships on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant experience in IT industry.
• Experience of working in a Project Management role using a formal project management methodology.
• Experience of using Project Management software (MSP/PMW etc.).
• Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level (both with Client and Senior Management to ensure projects success.

The company are offering a salary of around £35K + excellent Bonus and Benefits.
