You will provide hardware troubleshooting and remote\on-site support on Windows based platforms.
Must have high competence in all client based Windows operating systems (2000, XP, Vista). Must have a very good knowledge of Windows Server 2000, Server 2003, SBS Server 2003, SBS Server 2008, Exchange 2003, and Exchange 2007.
Also knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, Internet lines printers, backups, antivirus, spam, spyware prevention an advantage.
The successful candidate must have proven experience providing 2nd and potentially 3rd line support in a Microsoft environment, any qualifications such as MCSE, MCP, MCSA would be considered an advantage but not essential as experience is more important.
As you will have a lot of user contact you must have excellent communication skills and experience of installations\projects on-site at clients.
