3rd Line / IT Projects Technician – Manchester. Our growing client based in Manchester is currently looking to recruit an Experienced 3rd Line / Projects Technician to join their expanding IT Team. The Ideal candidate will have 3 years + experience maintaining and improving critical IT systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide 3rd line support for company systems.
• Undertake large projects to constantly update & improve systems and procedures.
• Ability to plan and work as a team on a wide range of tasks.
• Proactively Identify gaps / weaknesses in current systems.
• Undertake advanced troubleshooting of complex problems.
• Ensure maximum availability of all key systems.
• Maintain and monitor the security and integrity of systems and data contained therein.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Essential:
• Project Planning/Management
• Vmware technologies
• Windows XP/2003/2008
• Exchange 2003/2007
• Active directory/Group Policy
• Software asset management
Desirable:
• Avaya ACM
• PCI/DSS Experience
• Data archive/ Backup
• System monitoring/alerting
