Developer x 6 - Manchester C# VB.NET. Our client, a rapidly expanding organisation based in the Manchester area requires a number of .NET Developers to join their growing development department. Our client's in-house applications are currently written in VB.NET however they will be migrating to C# early in 2012. Most of the business areas use Winforms applications which communicate via WCF to a SQL Server 2008 database. They will be migrating to .NET 4.0 early in 2012. All the developers use Visual Studio 2010.
Skills required/desired:
VB.NET or C# , ASP.NET, SQL Server.
The company offers structured training program leading to progression to higher-profile client work, and can lead to customer-facing work or project management. To be considered you will have 1-2 years commercial experience in .NET, and enthusiasm to learn more about the full development life cycle. You will be keen to be involved in requirements analysis and systems design, as well as implementation and support. Team leadership or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
