C# Web Developer, Macclesfield, Cheshire £25-35K. Our client, a Software Company based Macclesfield, Cheshire is currently looking for a skilled C# Web Developer. The company builds e-commerce sites for consumer and trade sales, carries out large software development and integration projects and builds, delivers and supports its own software products.

Recently our client has won several contracts to build software applications and associated web front ends for a number of clients. As a result they are looking to expand our technical team.
Responsibilities
The vacancy offers the post holder the opportunity to join a successful team to work on practical applications of leading edge technology within the context of web development.
 

We are seeking an individual capable of analysing requirements, developing software from scratch using web technologies as well as maintaining and further developing existing websites and applications. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the software development life-cycle.
Responsibilities of the C# Web Developer will include using the following core technologies to build, upgrade and maintain web software:
•HTML
•DHTML
•XML
•ASP.NET
•C#
•JavaScript/JQuery
•Microsoft SQL Server

Nice to have would be:
•Azure
•PhoneGap
•MVC

Experience:
The candidate should be degree qualified (or equivalent) and must have at least 12 months experience of building retail and database-driven websites and web services with the above technologies.
The candidate should also have proven experience of working directly with clients.

Person Specification:
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
•Must have a proven track record of working within a Web software environment
•Must be degree calibre in Computer Science or a similar discipline
•In depth experience of HTML, DHTML, XML, ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript/JQuery
