C# ASP.NET Web Developer – Oxton, Wirral, Cheshire. Our client based in Oxton, Wirral is currently looking for a skilled  .NET lead Web Developer. You will become part of a growing and highly focused team with responsibility for further developing our clients products centred on web/cloud technologies. The focus of the role is mostly web development and 3rd party integration. Good leadership and communication skills are required with the ability to quickly gain a full understanding of the system.
 

Skills:
Key personal skills that will be an asset in this role include
• Attention to detail balanced by the ability to get the job done – productivity is key
• Candidate should be eager and willing to learn new technologies
• Time management and prioritisation skills
• Initiative and autonomy

Technical skills

• 6+ years experience of ASP.NET programming using C#, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL
• MS SQL server 2005/08 including tsql and stored procedures
• Skilled in database design, business analysis, requirements capturing and technical specification
• Experience with integrating web design with complex back-end systems
• Understanding of n-tier and MVC design patterns
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery / AJAX) required
• Good Understanding of cross-browser issues
• Experience of configure and administration of Windows Server 2008 and IIS
• Amazon EC2 platform experience highly beneficial
